Presby Hospital Agogo was officially elevated to a Level ‘A’ Regional Hospital status by the Ministry of Health. This upgrade acknowledges our expanded capabilities and excellent care outcomes.
We are pleased to announce that Presbyterian Hospital, Agogo (PreHA) has officially been upgraded to a Regional Hospital by the Ministry of Health, Ghana.
This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible, and holistic healthcare to the people of the Ashanti Region and beyond. The upgrade comes in recognition of our growing capacity, state-of-the-art facilities, and exceptional medical services, especially in areas such as emergency care, maternal health, eye care, and pediatric services.
As a Regional Hospital, PreHA will now serve as a major referral center for Asante Akim North and surrounding districts. It also means increased government support, enhanced infrastructure, and expanded specialist services to better serve the over 500,000 people in our catchment area.
