WELCOME TO AGOGO PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL
Presbyterian Hospital, Agogo, is a secondary health facility under the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG). The hospital is a key player in the health care delivery system within the Asante Akyem districts and is currently the second largest hospital in Ashanti Region next to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in terms of service outputs.
Presbyterian Hospital, Agogo, aside being a major referral facility for obstetrics/gynaecological care, surgery, child health and ophthalmological care, is a training facility for Medical House Officers and Pharmacy interns. The quality of health care delivery by the hospital draws patients from all over Ghana and neighboring countries including Togo, Cote d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso especially for its ophthalmologist care.
Presbyterian hospital, Agogo strives to be the hospital of choice for patients, clinical staff and health professionals seeking employment through efficient management of human, material and financial resources at all times. In an attempt to achieve this vision, the hospital seeks to reach all manner persons, especially the poor and the needy, with the good news of Jesus Christ through the provision of affordable and holistic medical care of the best possible quality in obedience to the Biblical imperative: “Heal the sick who are there and tell them: The kingdom of heaven is near”.
