The dedication of the ultramodern washroom for the OPD was marked with a brief ceremony on Friday, May 24, 2019, at the Hospital Chapel, with the Asante Akyem Presbytery/Area Board Chairperson, Area Board Member and Nananom gracing the occasion.  The General Manager, Management and staff as well as other dignitaries were also present.

The General Manager of the Presbyterian Hospital, Agogo, Mr. Alex Kesse Nyamesa, in his speech mentioned that, “The beautiful ultramodern OPD Washroom, made up of five (5) toilets for females and four (4) for males as well as four (4) urinal pots, has not only lifted the image of the hospital but has also put smiles on the faces of the patients and the entire staff as an indication of their satisfaction.

He indicated that as part of the hospital’s bid to move to a secondary level status following the number of specialized services it renders, the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA) inspected the hospital and the replacement of the old KVIP for patients was an added advantage during the assessment and that management will not relent on efforts to ensure that proper sanitation and efficient maintenance culture are preserved for the wellbeing of users and the longevity of the facility. 

The Area Board Chairperson of the Asante Akyem Presbyterian Health Service, Rev. Dr. Anokye Nkansah, as he unveiled the Plaque, dedicated the ultramodern washroom to God all mighty. He commended the General Manager and management for the ultramodern washroom and urged management to keep their promise to ensure that all the initial standards put in place are sustained to meet the expectation of the cherished clients and the wellbeing.
