BAYPORT SAVINGS AND LOANS DONATES TO PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL, AGOGO

Presbyterian hospital, Agogo on Thursday, July 14, 2022 received items worth one hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 100,000.00) from Bayport Saving and Loans through the Brogya Foundation. The items donated included
- One (1) Incubator
- Two (2) phototherapy equipment
The items were presented by the Dompiahene of the Asante Akyem Agogo Traditional Area, Nana Bediako Brogya Sarpong in the company of the paramount queen mother of Agogo Traditional Area and some sub chiefs.
According to Mr. Allen Jubin, Bayport’s Chief Commercial Officer, pre-term care is a critical part of healthcare in the pursuit to significantly decrease cases of infant mortality in Ghana and hopes the donation would help the hospital as a referral facility to save the lives of both babies and mothers.




Founder of the Brogya Foundation, Nana Bediako Brogya Sarpong showed gratitude to Bayport for regarding the appeal of the foundation to reach out to the hospital. He stated the foundation is committed to remain transparent in its existing relationship with the hospital.
The General Manager of Presbyterian hospital, Agogo, Mr. Alex Kesse Nyamesa expressed appreciation for the generosity shown to the hospital. According to him, the equipment is old and breakdown often, which isn’t a good health condition for pre-term babies. He added that, the equipment will help the hospital operate at the optimal level in taking care of pre-term babies.
The General Manager pointed out that, such deeds to support the hospital should be encouraged and commended, stating that the items would be used for its intended purposes and hopes that the donation will be the start of a very cordial relationship with Bayport savings and loans through the Brogya Foundation.
